It is the number one school in Juhu and in suburbs I would say.

I have heard from so many of my friends and relatives about the school and its image, principles, ideals, etc. It is the best. No secon... It is the number one school in Juhu and in suburbs I would say.

The owners and trustees even till date manage and run the school and look after day to day working because of which it is such a prestigious educational temple. I have got the opportunity to meet and interact with the trustees and they are so down to earth yet so classy and royal.

The school has a large play ground and opposite to the playground their forefathers have donated a land to the BMC which has been made into a public park well.

They have opened several other schools and branches now in other locations.

I am compelled to share my deeply disappointing experience with Jamnabai Narsee Monjee School regarding my daughter's admission. The school's arbitrary and discriminatory policies have left me astounded and disheartened, raising serious questions about their commitment to fairness and inclusivity.

Despite presenting valid proof of residence through my driving license and Aadhar card, the school shockingly rejected my daughter's admission application on the grounds that the Mumbai local property was not registered under the father's name. This policy is not only archaic but also reeks of an outdated mindset that fails to recognize the evolving dynamics of modern families.

In a world that increasingly values equality and non-discrimination, it is disconcerting to witness an educational institution clinging to such regressive norms. The use of property ownership as a decisive factor for admission not only disregards the diversity of family structures but also promotes a biased and unfair approach.

I fail to understand the logic behind prioritizing the father's name on property documents over the mother's, especially when I have provided indisputable evidence of residence through my driving license and Aadhar card. It is bewildering that the school would dismiss these valid documents, which are widely accepted as proof of identity and address, in favor of an arbitrary criterion that is not reflective of a family's actual circumstances.

This incident raises serious concerns about the school's commitment to providing equal educational opportunities to all deserving students. By adhering to such discriminatory policies, Jamnabai Narsee Monjee School is not only failing individual students but also perpetuating an environment that fosters inequality and bias.

I strongly urge the school administration to reconsider its admission policies and adopt a more progressive and inclusive approach. Education is a fundamental right, and no child should be denied admission based on outdated and irrelevant criteria. Jamnabai Narsee Monjee School needs to reevaluate its values and ensure that it embraces diversity rather than perpetuating discrimination.

The teaching method is very good. More then teaching their admission process is very nice.

They don't take the interview of the children, but the trustee Shri. Jairajbhai Chatrabhuj Narsee meets the parents individually leaving the children in the play area set for them during the admission. No social status questions are asked, only general questions and discussion.
The teacher emphasis on the teaching English in the school and mother tongue at home. Clear instructions are given to the parents to communicate with the children oi n their mother tongue and not ok n English.
The first English medium ICSE school in western suburb, other schools came later. The school offers Gujarati as second language, so the wish of the parents, who wants their children to learn Gujarati is fulfilled. They emphasis on Indian language, hence no foreign language apart from English is taught.

Upon mentioning to them that children of parents who were not ex students, even from far off Bandra were granted admission this very year as influential phone calls were made to the trustees and we, the ex students, were not being given any preference whatsoever, I was bluntly told (by Mrs Shobha in the very school office) that I should arrange for an influential phone call to be made myself if I wished for admission. Shameful. Will never step foot in school again.
