It's a boarding school. Built in a very huge area. Location is very good. Very old school.
This place is where my son studies. School has excellent facilities and infrastructure. The staff is much better than most boarding schools in this area. The students are truly diverse, well maintained and disciplined. The school has an excellent alumni association and very illustrious People have graced the school.

As old student of the school our batch class of 1982 really had a great time. The school is shining and the campus is extremely well maintained.

Why is there no privacy in the shower and toilets?\nThe flourishing ecosystem in toilets and bedding begs for immediate attention!\nInvesting in proper FULL doors would be a great idea.\nAnd please teach the kids hygiene…they need to use the pot not the health faucet!!!!

This is the best place and the best thing that can happen to someone. The serenity and the sheer craziness and environment of this school is just something that cannot be recreated. This is truly a once in a lifetime experience that I happened to have for 4 years .

I STUDY OUT HERE AND IS A VERY GOOD ENVIRONMENT TO LIVE AND LEARN..
It is an reknown institution. They screen students, also they have screen test for teachers.But one poor thing is they don't screen other working members,they say that there is an interview for other working members but it's just for sake.The selected members in interview are just known persons or relatives or sons of the staff members working there.There are persons working there in around 2 to 3 generations.Need proper screening to select staff members also.They also loot lot of things to their home.Such an good organization needs to see this and take necessary steps.

Well, i studied there from 1st standard till i completed my ISCE exams.( Previously Senior Cambridge)!\nWithout doubt it was the best years of my life.\nLater i did my Mbbs and got a job as lecturer in a medical college.\nI do have a good reputation as a teacher of Anatomy Physiology abd Opthalmology.\nI owe all the credit to my schooling at The Lawrence School. I am indebited to it and my grandfather and my Father who sent me there.\nIf any virtue it is because of my School and if any vice it's my own stupidity.\nIt's true...in life Never give in!!

The addmission process was indeed Tough, we(parents) had an interview and we cracked it. The principle and their members are very smart.. They had questioned us abt our's son stagnent marks which had not crossed over 65%% and how could he cross the score beyond 65% in the absence of personal .Attention\n\nattention

Education in hill station
This school is located about 5 km away from my native place, a village near Lovedale, Ooty. Most in India cannot possibly afford to study in this school. Its for a privileged few! I am also of the view that this school has not produced many talented people either, as far as I know ~ So nothing to be proud of! We need affordable quality education for all in India!! History reveals that the British let the children of masons ( Indians living in villages nearby), who built this school, to learn along with their children. They did not discriminate. But we Indians discriminate. Is int it illegal to discriminate? we fought against British rule, but we dont fight against our misrule!! sorry for my negative thoughts, but please correct me where i am wrong!
