Firstly, there is a filthy nala (drain) beside the school that emits a foul odor and attracts mosquitoes, posing significant health hazards for young children and increasing the risk of various illnesses. This is particularly troubling given the vulnerability of children to mosquito-borne diseases. Interestingly, the nala is covered in most areas except for the school vicinity. It is unclear why this section remains uncovered, and the school should work with civic authorities to address this issue.

Furthermore, the school lacks a proper playground. The area shown to parents during visits is actually the school bus parking area, which feels misleading and does not provide a safe, dedicated space for children to play and engage in physical activities.

Additionally, I noticed poor lighting. Despite limited natural light, the lights were not turned on, creating a dim environment that can negatively affect the learning experience. Children certainly won't thrive in such a dark space.

I hope the school will address these important factors of hygiene, proper lighting, and safe play areas soon. These improvements are crucial for providing a conducive learning environment. Should these changes be implemented, I would reconsider my perspective on the school.

The connection between our natural world, child development and academics is brought into a daily reality. We have been so fortunate to be able to be part of this institution. Our experience with the faculty has been one of mutual respect and willingness to encourage each child to reach their heart's and mind's potential. The curriculum is introduced and taught in a way that connects each child to the outside world in a way that meets them intrinsically. In fact initially, I struggled with stage fright and never imagined being able to deliver speeches. However, the exceptional teachers at Prerana guided and supported me, enabling me to overcome this fear.
Now, in college and at work, I receive compliments on my public speaking abilities.

B... I visited this school twice hoping so much to join my daughter as I like their educational system but had to pull back myself for 2 main reasons. Same feedback was heard from my colleagues as well.

Both the times I visited the school, I checked all classrooms as part of their tour and found despite having less lighting, lights are also not turned on. This might sound insignificant but half of early vision issues in kids happen due to poor lightening in schools and at home, in addition to kids screentime. Vision is clearly at stake looking at their classroom lighting.

Another mail reason is their washrooms. They are NOT at all hygiene and since my daughter wanted to go to washroom, I took her with their permission and found that they are filthy and even water is not coming from washbasin. I am not sure how a school charging lakhs of rupees as academic fee not even able to have hygienic washrooms.

I so wanted to join my daughter for their educational system but couldn't compromise on these 2 important factors.

I heard similar reviews from other parents as well.

I asked them about these but their answer wasn't convincing.

Hope some day they will realize the importance of hygiene environment and kids vision and I wish to join my daughter back in there.

This is the starting of my 8th year in this school. The waldorf education is a must you can't have too much stress. The other curriculum activities are fun to do and there are many field trips through the year. The mainlesson is one of the main reasons i got the experience of waldorf. My grades have improved by every going year and all the teachers
are well trained and not strict. They are polite with the students and the building has improved a lot from the beginning. Whenever you have a doubt the teacher will explain crealy and make you understand.

I have been a parent for 10 years and have 4 children currently enrolled in the school from Kindergarten through Middle school and have been overwhelmingly impressed with the quality of education delivered and the enthusiasm with which my children have for their time there.

I studied here for 3 years and enjoyed my time here by learning a lot of new things. The best part here, isn't the sports, but the education, in which the "Mainlesson" is the best. In it, they teach vast topics including History, Sciences, Social Science, Astronomy, Mathematics etc. in detail. The teachers here are flawless and help all children indiscriminately. They also have the ability to teach in such a way that subjects are learnt and memorized. Activities are also conducted with educational and fun field trips, and things like painting, drawing in 3D, writing reviews of historic events etc. are commonly done at school.Most teachers are awesome here, with Neela Madam being the best in my opinion.

They charge for games, sports and what not, while none of it has been available for my kid other than sand pit,and we are talking about grade 5! Lots of talk and hype,very little action, lots of reaction, won't take a complaint or concern, always put up a big enough resistance to show it is parents fault. Fees was increased even though T Gov had announced no increase and no refund was issued. Fees for the whole year is being charged at the regular levels while over the last 9 months there have been nothing other than virtual classes. A single teacher takes all subjects, progress is not great, kids lag way behind as compared to other schools. I would say a black spot on Waldorf name. Sloka I hear is a way better option.

The vehicles literally block the narrow road and honk so much,creating huge noise polution.The school admin. may plz educate the wards and drivers.

Think twice before you put your child in this school. They dont really treat parents and child well. In one of the instances, my child was left behind in the reception intentionally when other children were taken on a field trip. We had other bad experiences too and when we asked them to refund the fee we paid after such worse experiences, they said they will file cyber crime case against us. Cyber crime for writing a review and asking our money back? First of all, why is there a fee apart from the regular tuition fee. It doesnt make any sense. Very bad. I had to change the school and put my son in the same class the following year. I wasted all the money on this school.

Wouldn't recommend it to parents who want an everyday update of the child's activities in school, and want extra curricular activities. PTM's are held regularly but the points that parents emphasize on are not taken into consideration. For everything the answer is " this is the teaching methodology that we follow". My lad was in Grade 1 and though we were initially excited about the No Homework concept, we quickly realized that the subjects/portion that was taught in school was not shared with us, inspite of us asking during the PTM's.

No emphasis is given on improving the writing of the child and he/she is slapped/hit by the teachers. The fees is about 2lac ( including 1lac for admission and so called craft fees) . After paying this, my son was given broken crayons (something that costs 40/- in the market) to color with and when I bought it up to the teacher, she told us that" we need to explain to the management why we need a new set of crayons".

With these kind of experiences we have changed his school and is in better hands today. But the one year in Prerana was enough of an experience we had.

Teachers and administration are worst they branded a 5 years child to be aggressive and what not. It was traumatic for parent I admitted in the school thinking it would be be different from regular school but this was the worst choice not even iota of teaching of Waldorf was inculcated. They never gave good progress about the kid but gave all negative remarks. They are least bothered whether the child comes to school or not Totally disgusting.. Teacher are not upto standards at all they struggle to speak and write good English with parents and in the Diary.

A parent's dream school to bring the best out of their child. Very happy to have found such school in my vicinity.

One concern is they don't have a parent feedback mechanism yet and hence no scope for further improvement is seen. We can't let a good institute become complacent in their approach as systematic continuous improvement is what will set them part always. They need to get parent feedback either thru questionnaire or email or via open house.
