Education given with care
I went there for ISSO and fields were amazing.
former student who unfortunately spent over 10 years here. lovely people, made great friends, but the school is just not it, it poses itself as a top tier ib school, when in reality, compared to nearly any ib school in the country, its not even close. the management is in shambles, the leadership is weak, the teachers and coaches are not treated well, let alone the students.
the few great teachers and coaches that we did have were forced to leave to better institutions since the school seemed to just not want to pay these incredible educators. having now attended another io school in india, i truly see the enormous difference between what an ib school should be, vs whatever nisv is. even as a student it was woefully apparent how much the school was run on terribly skewed internal politics and favoritism. the dwindling reputation of this school is apparent in the attitude of students throughout vadodara, where it was once a coveted school, but near the end of my journey with nisv, i felt embarrassed to tell people my school.
overworked teachers, mismanaged allocation of resources, unchecked leadership and a generally lousy management cultures were the norm and me and my fellow students bore the brunt of it all. this is not an institution i would recommend to anyone, purely for the mental strain it caused, let alone the lack of academic prowess.
Go fr this school.only if u r a rich influential parent .not meant fr kids who wish to excel in academics, but for them who want to show off .The principal Theo is the most partial man who would favour the wrong doings of kids coz they belong to high class and he would see to it that ur innocent kid is mentally tortured giving them suicidal tendencies ..would never probe into an inquiry fr a kid who is not at fault and the counseling services are only fr name sake..very soon ul see kids having waip in their hand instead of a pen as school hides under the carpets the pics of the liquor party of their Secondary kids.
The staff is not that qualified as the school boasts.
The school has been often under scanner by the DEO because of the partial attitude but they buy their awards with money and power and displays on social media.just a hyped school, parents do check other school in baroda and dnt go by this brand name .if u want ur kids to be grounded and want a good mental and psychological balance.
Everyone in Baroda is hoping when will the management of nisv be taken over by other prestigious educational bodies...feedback frm a parent whose bright kid has suffered worst humiliation and demotivating and lost self confidence coz of Theo and management attitude
Unprofessional behavior of admin staff. No one picking call on admin reception. no one even bother to give response on email. Especially Darshan mam' in admin department, she keeps shouting if parent reach directly to school as no response of email or call.
Doesn't deserve even a 1 star..if u have moved from a metro city, then will realize it is just an overly hyped school locally, with zero quality in education, sports selection only fr selected few students, except for few faculties ,rest are just average teachers, The staff especially the principal is very partial towards affluent parents, we spent 2 precious years of our children here after moving from a metro city n all we have is just regrets..If parents want to be in a circle of the who's and who's of baroda and boast abt their economic standards then this school is the best but if u want to secure child's future by focus on education and also better infrastructure then there are better options around which are less popular but really maintain quality in education.
NISV is good. Fees are too high.
"Admission fees are equivalent to 1 month Tuition fees for new admission & at the time of getting promoted to Grades I, IX & XI."
Even if your kid is studying in same school, then also they are charging Admission fees. I am not sure where this rule comes from. This in not justifiable.
If from other school, then it's fine.
A school with the best infrastructure for sports and good education facility. One of the oldest and top school of baroda.
The school has good infrastructure. The approach road has improved.\nThe school gives a lot of opportunities to the students in all fields. Nowadays, education is not confined to textbooks but it is the experience that is more important. The students get the opportunity of measuring their own potential.\nEvery thing has its pros and cons but the management is open to suggestions.
Management does not care about students at all. They take so much of fees yet do not provide basic facilities such as proper road & adequate parking space.
My Daughter is in studying up in with this school vocabulary level of the school teacher is so low and also the Principle Mrs (Viraj Jhaveri) of the school is so busy in with work that Parents seek to have take appointment with her but getting appointment is just a dream nothing else she ask parents to meet the class teacher as she is busy in work . In Stead Of quality Education they have got only Quality Fees to take up with the parents .CAUTIONS for your children future dont go up with kind of School .
Best experiences.. my both daughter n son presently studying in this school..excellent study n more options in sports also.. bight future n supported staffs, n principal..

These guys have so much money but they don't fix anything. It's terrible in raining season, but otherwise it's okay in the other seasons. Also I'm an Indian American, so I can tell a school differently.
I study in this school and it is great
