A reputed school in Guwahati with all modern facilities. The results of Class 10 & 12 are outstanding. Fee structure is moderate.
The school is so bad. The seniors are not the people you want your kids to mix in with. Most students I have seen, including seniors and juniors. They are very rowdy and agressive. If you play some kind of sport. They will hit you and run away and even steal from you. They say very bad words in the washroom and throw eaten chewing gum in the urinals and some even bully children very often. Also the transport is very bad as the buses are uncomfortable and I got asthma from all the smoke of the bus.
It's costly and have a lot of extra curricular activities (which is nice ) but doesn't focus that much on students performance on studies and also has a lot of vacation days
The school makes you do stupid softboards and waste your own time and resources to improve their school rating from a 4.1 stars to a 4.3. The fans are so bad that even if you turn it on, you still sweat. And if your child takes the school bus, you're basically gifting your child lung cancer because how BAD THE AIR QUALITY IS BECAUSE OF THE EXHAUST FUMES OF THE BUSES WITH PRIMITIVE ENGINES FROM STONE AGE WITHOUT ANY OIL CHANGE!

My both sons studied here for 2 years ...the school has tansparent system ...they listen to your issues and try to work on them . I have experienced 5dps schools this one is good experience.

I have studied in this school for 8 years from the first standard till the eighth grade(2008-2017). Therefore I shall give an honest and experienced review. The school is overall a grand hub of education endowed with proficient teachers,but the main issue is that the vice principal of the school has got a treacherous nature due to which he is into the habit of decieving the students and their guardians. So my only suggestion would be that please do make sure that both you and your child are vigilant and smart enough to survive in this school which is leaded by a vice principal who's into the habit of back stabbing others and playing double games else you may find yourself and your child in neck deep trouble.
Its very clean and the staff is very helpful and caring... And the best is the canteen...

There are many students which are often bullies or like doing harm, and most of the teachers are selfish and not understandable.\n\nSchool only knows how to make money not how to teach students and giving them understanding of moral discipline.\n\nSchool for rich kids who will inherit their mama papa ka business and its just passtime.

I studied for 7 years , I think it is one of the best school in Guwahati .
It is an extremely good school. The management is very good. Most teachers are understanding, friendly and supportive. Transport facilities are excellent. Facilities like CCTV cameras and GPS within ID cards ensure safety and security of the students. There are lots of co-curricular activities. There is less pressure on studies so students don't feel tired. I am an ex - student of the school and happy with my journey there.
How much free to admission here
Maybe very good infra and all of that. However, from all the students that I have dealt with so far, the one thing that I've realised is that most students don't seem to have even a basic working knowledge of English. Besides, with all the high fees and all the extra-curricular activities that the schools seems to enjoy making money out of, the basic element of reading books doesn't seem to be a priority.\n\nA rich school for the rich kids who'll finally inherit Papa's biz

As an ex student, passing class 12 this year, this is one of the best schools of Guwahati. The science faculty of higher secondary is outstanding. All teachers are very supportive and always ready to help us understand topics. It depends upon the student whether he/she wants to study, no point blaming teachers. The explanations are on point. If you are looking for good class 12 results, this is the place for you.

It's absolutely rare to find a perfect school in northeast considering only a handful of teachers are actually passionate and dedicated. However, dpsg is one of the most highly reputed schools with good faculty and infrastructure. It isn't overly expensive as most people think , because you can clearly see the vast difference in the infrastructure when compared to other schools. I mean if you want that kind of infrastructure and facilities,you need to pay!Nonetheless, it has its flaws. You cannot expect to get the kind of education imparted in Delhi and it's solely because of obvious reasons. The students are also at fault equally.\nBut at the end of the day it is one of the best schools in ghy and the rest is entirely upon your child.

The school is very beautiful. There is a beautiful garden. The teachers at this school are very kind and caring. They teach with great attention and patience. There is no corporal punishment meted out to students. There is a great deal of emphasis on punctuality and cleanliness.

The best I could have ever recieved. Amazing faculty with really helpful teachers. Dps Guwahati not only takes utmost care on education but also gives importance to co curricular activites. It was the best experience I ever had, been here since 2003-2017.

Believe me all the comments in here are posted by the school authorities I am a real student just joined this session 17-18.believe me this school is the worst you can find for example the teacher gives us all the answers written same in the book and doesn't try to explain in their own language. The children are also spoiled
