The school is charging almost 1.75 lakhs for grade 1 excluding transport fees, school uniform, books, activities, annual event related expenses etc. These all are extra needs to be borne by the parents. Transport fees to be paid in full irrespective of child availing date. All 3 terms fees needs to be paid before november 30th only every year, failing which they will charge weekly penalty. I don't understand that cornerstone school management are paying all their teachers salaries for 12 months from June 2024 to May 2025 before November 30th 2024?
Cornerstone school chandanagar is literally looting the childs parents hard earned money this way under the name of education with tag line international school.

Very horrible experience for me while taking my child to this Cornerstone school Serilingampalle for Grade 2 admission. Two days before the pre-admission process, they sent a message instructing us to bring our child to the school at 9 AM. On the scheduled day, we arrived at 9:20 AM. The counselor informed me that the child assessment would take approximately 1 hour and asked me to return after that time. While waiting in the common hall with other parents, I realized an hour had passed. Upon checking with the front office, I was informed that the assessment was still ongoing. Eventually, my child emerged at 12:45 PM, taking nearly 3.5 hours for the Grade 2 assessment. It was a disappointing first-day experience.

After collecting my child, they mentioned that the results would be announced after 3 days. Surprisingly, I received no communication from the school. After 5 days, when I called, they revealed that my child was not selected. They claimed to have called earlier, but I hadn't answered. The lack of alternative communication methods, such as messages or emails, showcased poor management response.

May be the school using this admission procedure only for such publicity. Even they did not share the assessment report of the child after the exam. Many parents, not just me, have faced similar issues during the admission process. The school's apparent disregard for proper planning and consideration for children's needs during assessments is disheartening

2 Details of what is thought and home work details are updated promptly in school app. I am very much happy for this, as most the complaints were reg this from reviews, but I don't see any issues and happy that management considered the feedback

3 Caring for kids is very good. 100 out of 100

4 Visisted office many times before and after joining kids. Management is attentive and discuss the concerns and queries.

Books and School dresses organized well. Only concern is the location to buy dresses was very far from school. This should be improved

Overall, so far happy with the school and management and hope that same will be continued in future ....

Communication skills of the students here is no less compared to any foreign returnee kid. Ethics and morals are inculcated within the kids from an early age. This quality is missing in many schools. They don't pressurise and over burden kids for sure. At the same time online classes have been most amazingly and thoughtfully designed. Very interactive. Fee is surely not less, but at the same time what you pay, it's definitely worth it. School takes care of children so well and they have a sick bay here wherein kids walk in with all ease when they are unwell.

Money minded school. They collect 1200 to 1500 rs for Annual day functions which they conduct in the school premises and dont even give the dress they wear on that day. preparing for their exams. If you keep every day some events in the
name of assembly and all saturday's with some PTM activities with loud
speaker and end of the day playing some drums, dont you think its too
much. Being in the teaching profession, where you know how kids as to
study from the month of Febuary still you are continuing these events
is not acceptable. You should be considerate about other kids who are
preparing for their exams. You should wrap all your extra ciricular
activities by the month of Jan end and Feb 1st week like how other
schools are doing. If you still plan to do it keep them in your school
auditorium. Consider other other kids also.

Please be thoughtful and consider it.

I dont know if school is good or bad, i went for admision for claa pp1 and grade1 for my kids. For pp1 kid they did not speak anything and for grade1 kid they asked some general quesions like what is... I was shoked on what basis they rejected for pp1 kid.And i asked them for reason . the below reasons they said:
1. the phonic sounds are not proper.
2.you dont have patients thats the reason we rejected your kids.

I felt very bad if i asked for fee structure from other parents ,by seeing that they are saying i dont have patience .

If you dont have seats please give first come first basis. but dont degrade kids in class 1 and pp1 by saying rejected due to some unvalid reasons.
