Critical Review: Advanced Academy School, Indore
As a parent of a child in the junior section at Advanced Academy School in Indore, I feel compelled to share my deeply disappointing experience with this institution. What was once promoted as a "reputed CBSE school" with modern facilities and a strong emphasis on student development has turned out to be a frustrating and unresponsive environment. Established in 1999 and boasting around 3,000 students, the school markets itself as a leader in education, but my interactions reveal significant shortcomings in communication, health and safety, and administrative behavior. I'll outline the key issues below based on my direct experiences over the past year.
1. Complete Lack of Communication Channels
One of the most glaring problems is the absence of any reliable way to connect with the school staff. Parents are left in the dark about their child's progress, daily activities, or any concerns that arise. There's no dedicated portal, email system, or app for updates—everything feels outdated and inaccessible. Attempts to contact teachers directly are met with silence; I've sent multiple messages and emails without a single response. Even worse, the front desk in the junior section rarely picks up calls. On several occasions, I've called during school hours only to be greeted by endless ringing or abrupt hang-ups. This isn't just inconvenient—it's negligent. How are parents supposed to address issues like homework clarification or behavioral feedback when the school stonewalls us? In an era where other schools use apps like ClassDojo or Google Classroom for seamless interaction, Advanced Academy seems stuck in the past.
2. Poor Food Quality and Zero Accountability for Health Incidents
The school's handling of student nutrition is another major red flag. The cafeteria food is often subpar, but a recent incident took it to an unacceptable level. A few weeks ago, pav bhaji was served to the kids in the junior section, and it resulted in widespread illness—my child and many classmates suffered from stomach aches, vomiting, and diarrhea that kept them home for days. Parents reported similar symptoms across multiple classes, yet the school management offered no acknowledgment, apology, or investigation. No email was sent to inform families, no medical checks were conducted, and when I raised it with the administration, it was brushed off as "isolated cases." This lack of transparency is dangerous; food safety should be a priority in a school dealing with young children. If the management can't even admit to a mistake and take steps to prevent future occurrences, how can we trust them with our kids' well-being? I've heard murmurs from other parents about inconsistent meal quality, but this incident highlights a deeper issue of indifference.
3. Rigid and Unapproachable Behavior from Director Timsi Rai
The school's leadership, particularly Director Timsi Rai, exemplifies a rigid and dismissive attitude toward parents. In my few interactions with her—mostly during parent-teacher meetings or when escalating concerns—she comes across as unyielding and uninterested in feedback. Questions about curriculum changes or facility improvements are met with curt responses, and any criticism is deflected with phrases like "This is school policy" without room for discussion. This top-down approach fosters an environment where parents feel like outsiders rather than partners in their child's education. For a school that prides itself on "excellence" and has been around for over two decades, you'd expect more empathy and openness from the director. Instead, it feels like complaints fall on deaf ears, which only exacerbates the other issues.
Overall, while the school may have decent infrastructure and extracurricular options on paper, these fundamental flaws make it a poor choice for families seeking a supportive and accountable educational environment. My child has potential, but the constant barriers to communication and disregard for basic health concerns have left us stressed and disillusioned. I strongly advise prospective parents to look elsewhere—schools like Eva world International or others in Indore offer better transparency and care. If Advanced Academy doesn't address these systemic problems soon, it risks losing more families.

We would like to take this opportunity to express our heartfelt appreciation for Advanced Academy and, in particular, for Rajni Mam, the Class Teacher of KG-I C.Few months back, we enrolled our ward in KG, and since this was such an important milestone in our child's educational journey, we were very particular about choosing the right school and environment. After careful consideration and research, we decided on Advanced Academy, and from day one, we knew we had made the right choice.

The positive change we observed in our ward was immediate, and we attribute much of this to the nurturing environment created by Rajni Mam. Her dedication to each child in the class, including our ward, is truly commendable. Rajni Mam goes above and beyond to ensure every student receives the care and attention they need. Along with the entire staff, she has been incredibly supportive and cooperative, fostering a sense of security and trust.

We are now fully confident that our ward is in excellent hands, and we sincerely appreciate the efforts of Rajni Mam and the whole team at Advanced Academy.
