Critical Review: Advanced Academy School, Indore
As a parent of a child in the junior section at Advanced Academy School in Indore, I feel compelled to share my deeply disappointing experience with this institution. What was once promoted as a "reputed CBSE school" with modern facilities and a strong emphasis on student development has turned out to be a frustrating and unresponsive environment. Established in 1999 and boasting around 3,000 students, the school markets itself as a leader in education, but my interactions reveal significant shortcomings in communication, health and safety, and administrative behavior. I'll outline the key issues below based on my direct experiences over the past year.
1. Complete Lack of Communication Channels
One of the most glaring problems is the absence of any reliable way to connect with the school staff. Parents are left in the dark about their child's progress, daily activities, or any concerns that arise. There's no dedicated portal, email system, or app for updates—everything feels outdated and inaccessible. Attempts to contact teachers directly are met with silence; I've sent multiple messages and emails without a single response. Even worse, the front desk in the junior section rarely picks up calls. On several occasions, I've called during school hours only to be greeted by endless ringing or abrupt hang-ups. This isn't just inconvenient—it's negligent. How are parents supposed to address issues like homework clarification or behavioral feedback when the school stonewalls us? In an era where other schools use apps like ClassDojo or Google Classroom for seamless interaction, Advanced Academy seems stuck in the past.
2. Poor Food Quality and Zero Accountability for Health Incidents
The school's handling of student nutrition is another major red flag. The cafeteria food is often subpar, but a recent incident took it to an unacceptable level. A few weeks ago, pav bhaji was served to the kids in the junior section, and it resulted in widespread illness—my child and many classmates suffered from stomach aches, vomiting, and diarrhea that kept them home for days. Parents reported similar symptoms across multiple classes, yet the school management offered no acknowledgment, apology, or investigation. No email was sent to inform families, no medical checks were conducted, and when I raised it with the administration, it was brushed off as "isolated cases." This lack of transparency is dangerous; food safety should be a priority in a school dealing with young children. If the management can't even admit to a mistake and take steps to prevent future occurrences, how can we trust them with our kids' well-being? I've heard murmurs from other parents about inconsistent meal quality, but this incident highlights a deeper issue of indifference.
3. Rigid and Unapproachable Behavior from Director Timsi Rai
The school's leadership, particularly Director Timsi Rai, exemplifies a rigid and dismissive attitude toward parents. In my few interactions with her—mostly during parent-teacher meetings or when escalating concerns—she comes across as unyielding and uninterested in feedback. Questions about curriculum changes or facility improvements are met with curt responses, and any criticism is deflected with phrases like "This is school policy" without room for discussion. This top-down approach fosters an environment where parents feel like outsiders rather than partners in their child's education. For a school that prides itself on "excellence" and has been around for over two decades, you'd expect more empathy and openness from the director. Instead, it feels like complaints fall on deaf ears, which only exacerbates the other issues.
Overall, while the school may have decent infrastructure and extracurricular options on paper, these fundamental flaws make it a poor choice for families seeking a supportive and accountable educational environment. My child has potential, but the constant barriers to communication and disregard for basic health concerns have left us stressed and disillusioned. I strongly advise prospective parents to look elsewhere—schools like Eva world International or others in Indore offer better transparency and care. If Advanced Academy doesn't address these systemic problems soon, it risks losing more families.
as a ex student don't come
One of the Best School in Indore.
Especially the TEACHERS, I must say they are very professional and Very Caring especially "Kiran Mam" my son's Class Teacher of Nursary . Seriously Hats-Off to all the Hard-Work which has been continuously going on.
Thank you so much for all the efforts which is being done from Teachers to make the student's future Brighter .
We would like to take this opportunity to express our heartfelt appreciation for Advanced Academy and, in particular, for Rajni Mam, the Class Teacher of KG-I C.Few months back, we enrolled our ward in KG, and since this was such an important milestone in our child's educational journey, we were very particular about choosing the right school and environment. After careful consideration and research, we decided on Advanced Academy, and from day one, we knew we had made the right choice.
The positive change we observed in our ward was immediate, and we attribute much of this to the nurturing environment created by Rajni Mam. Her dedication to each child in the class, including our ward, is truly commendable. Rajni Mam goes above and beyond to ensure every student receives the care and attention they need. Along with the entire staff, she has been incredibly supportive and cooperative, fostering a sense of security and trust.
We are now fully confident that our ward is in excellent hands, and we sincerely appreciate the efforts of Rajni Mam and the whole team at Advanced Academy.

This school is my school. It has good staff and lunch given by school is awesome I will 10/10 in lunch. But benches are made of wood and ply and are not comfortable if you will sit on that benches for 1-2 hours you will feel that it is uncomfortable so because of bench I have cut 1 star So instead of 5 Star I will give 4 star to my school. But overall my school is best,Thank you
Great School my wards ( Manas Singh 6 D and Manan Singh KG2-D) They like the school. Alka ma’am is very supportive
Teachers are good but principal is not good. Tution fee collected without student attended the class. Over all experience is not good.
Money minded school like business centre. Normally school should be more centric on education and it should be like Vidya Mandir. Teacher's are good but principal and management is very poor.
Everything is perfect here. management, administration..and I must say.. teachers are so so responsible n clear and most important cooperative as most of the parents are working now these days...they are helping n kind..very systematic things are here.. I can suggest anyone for the school without any doubt. My regards n wishes to the school..A big big thank you to everyone including Bus staff.thank u so much.god bless you all
Some teachers are really encouraging but some are very very discouraging, fees is very expensive by terms of quality of education , upto class 5 it's really good as it is managed by Timsi Rai ma'am but senior school teachers are very humiliating and not supportive only infrastructure wise it's good but quality of education and teachers not up to the mark
My daughter is very happy in the school and is in it from 6 years
Found these people very slow at the time of admission they behave like a shaktimaan and will revolve around you 5 times in 10 mins but after that they will become gangadhar , too slow waited too long for a transaction at the cash counter with only me in the queue.
We are really happy that we sent our kid to Advanced Academy. Apart from academic , school provide superb facilities and activities for the overall development of students. Like every parent we were worried about how our kid will cope up with new school, but it was pleasant experience. Teachers and school staff are polite , cooperative and approachable. Special thanks to Neesha Madam , she is very caring, kind and calm teacher and engage with all children with ease. Her guidance and continuous feedback helped us a lot and we will always appreciate it.

Congratulations to whole team for today's successful Galaxia - cultural show. It was really a great event. All the kidies performed outstandingly. Really surprised to see kids of age 3 to 6 years are performing superbly. We as a parents really appreciate the efforts of the backend team which proved as a strong pillar behind this successful show. Because of all the concerned teachers, mentors and team members all the students were able to give their best output along with enjoying every bit of it. Whole team have taught so well to all students. The happy faces of kids in the function was really visible and felt which is indeed very incredible. We understand it very well that its not an easy task to make so small kids learn and perform at such outstanding scale. Hats off to all the team ðŸ™ðŸ»ðŸ™ðŸ»\n\nRegards,\nYatti Dawar
I am so much satisfied with the school with the director mam, teachers and other staff of the school they are so much cooperative and always motivate the students to move forward and present themselves I highly recommend the school to other parents who are reading this review..
I want to appreciate the Principal , Director , Coordinator and the school’s teachers, for the positive impact on students in your school for yesterday assembly of class IV E.\nPersonally I have noticed the presentation and confidence of my daughter Aarvika after joining the school, Thank you for changing the mindset of the students. I will like to appreciate the efforts of all the staff in guiding the students through the right path\nRegards\nRicha Anand
The school helps in holistic development of children. My kids joined school in mid- session but the affection, care and guidance they got was unmatched. The team of Advanced Academy is dedicated, passionate and enthusiastic not only in academic development of children but also in sports, music, dance, art and craft, speaking skills etc. The most important part is that they focus on incalculating moral values in students.\nHeartfelt thanks to all known and unknown hands for being such an important part in my child's overall development.\n\nThanks & regards\nShraddha Holkar
some teachers don't have manners they embarass the students & then tell them to enjoy\nDon't send your child to this school unless you want him/her to have a traumatic experience\nDiscrimination is very common here
The teachers are not good and have very bad attitude towards the students. They don't talk in good manner specially in transportation teacher manju ma’am ask my daughter 'tere baap ko maa ko le ana me kisi se ni darti
Reading to other reviews, my thoughts also matched similar with sports and activities being good. About the teachers' behaviour is concerned, I am not known about it, nor my ward has complained to me as of yet, but yeah, if it really is, then the concerned managing authority [loyal people] should look minutely into this. Beating and abusive behaviour is offensive.\n\nIn regards to fee structure, yeah, I feel it's a bit high. They should consider this in limits to suit parents' pockets.
I visited many schools for my daughter admission ,\nfinally I select advance academy school for my daughter its an wonder full campus and infrastructure , known school , Great studies ,\nFound many positive reviews from other parents too , Faculty and staff are mannered .\nYa quilte behaviour lack in ground lvl staff
Totally I wated my money and time enrolled for 3 months for 5,000/-. I went for just 1 month and learned the basic and no instructors personally guided. Pool is very overcrowded so there is no place to swim for adults without getting interpreted. The water is very dirty and no cleanliness is maintained. Unless you complained about the dirty water, they won’t clean. The instructors pay no individual attention to adults. Instructors are more focused to kids as their parents are always around and they complain to pay attention to their kids. Showers are not good most of them won’t even work and lights are never working. The changing rooms stinks and no personal hygienic for female swimmers are maintained. I would like to give the credit to Nadeem sir and Sawan sir as they pay more attention to all the children and train them with great instructions. They really work hard. They both are the only reason I learned basics of swimming. Giving 2 start just for Nadeem sir and sawan sir.
Pool is always overcrowded so there is no place to swim without getting interpreted.\nPool water is dirty with pigeon feathers and black Ash like substance in it.\nTrainers are polite but the pool is overcrowded so no individual attention is paid.\nShowers are not good most of them dont even have lashes in it and lights are not working.\nCost 2500 for a month and 5000 for 3 months overall not a good place if you want to learn swimming.
The studies are excellent but the teachers are not very friendly.they should be more concerned about the food and also Should really add a canteen.
Advanced Academy is not just a school it’s an emotion.\nWorth every penny.\nCan’t express in words.
It is the best school and all the staff members are really happy there and teachers are wonderfully knowledgable and helpful . This school also has many curricular activities .
They don't pay salary to the teachers... They are just busy in filling their own pockets with money
Lack in discipline ... School timing is not good ... It's like if school has time of 9 45 , so students are allowed to come till 10 .10 .. .... That is worst part .. overall it is good !!
A very good School with good teachers and Staff but the Principal is the Negative part of the school. But overall.. The school is okay.
Love the school, construction, facility, Teaching, sports & atmosphere all top notch. School have got big ground, swimming pool too.
This would be the best school for a middle class family. It's like a palace. Good food. Extraordinary Education and everything is great. You don't respect it when you are studying in it, but when you leave it, you regret. You remember it like a heaven. As a child, when I left it, I had a lot of tears in my eyes. This would be the best school in Indore.

Being an advanced academy student i know that principle of this school does a lot of discrimination. Don't ask about other teachers
The principal is very kind and friendly. The teachers do their best and encourage students (except some). The Friday feast and Thursday kadi pakoda are the best in the school mess.
No cleanliness maintained!! Most of the showers at shower area are broken.. the changing rooms stink and the pool has too much of chlorine granules at the base that hurt ur feet when u land on them\n\nMost importantly no trainer will pay attention.. and the pool is over occupied in every batch and the staff around will just keep instructing to change the swimming lanes and have no regard for politeness
Worst school ever seen! Teachers have negative attitude towards the sudents and blames the student in every case.the principle is pathetic. Worst experience ever had.
Amazing School And Teachers Are Really Supportive And Encouraging. Great Facilities. â¤ï¸
I visited for the swimming academy. It is well maintained, coaches are training in proper manner as compare to other places and most important cleanliness is there.
Water is very cloudy with foul smell twice in a week, you can feel it... Some trainers are very rude... over crowded.
Place where you have to b crowd friendly and husky the dog friendly.. Aka... Lil kids Wana swim thru you aka don't mess wd dem :D... Love kids
